The Successful Launch of SEO Satellite for UAE on LM-2C

At 11:02, August 17,2026 Beijing Time, the SEO satellite was successfully launched on LM-2C launch vehicle from Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center (TSLC). The satellite entered into the predetermined orbit. The launch mission was a complete success.

The ‘SEO’ mission aims to develop advanced space technologies and represents an ambitious step toward utilizing space technologies to support sustainability and future development. The mission seeks to provide data and insights that contribute to environmental protection, natural resource management, and enhanced planning and decision-making efficiency.

This mission is the 88th flight of the LM-2C launch vehicle and the 664th launch of the Long March family.
