At 20:15 on April 25th, 2026, Long March-6 (LM-6) launch vehicle successfully delivered Pakistan's PRSC-EO3 satellite into its designated orbit, from Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center (TSLC). The launch mission was a complete success.

Launch services for the above-mentioned PRSC-EO3 satellite is provided by China Great Wall Industry Corporation (CGWIC), a subsidiary of the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC). According to a multi-launch services agreement with Pakistan Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO) in 2022, CGWIC has provided 3 successful launch services to SUPARCO, contributing to the smooth deployment of SUPARCO’s PRSC-EO satellite constellation. CGWIC also delivered propulsion systems from Beijing Institute of Control Engineering (BICE) under China Academy of Space Technology (CAST), and other platform units were developed by other organizations. Moreover, CGWIC provides PRSC-EO satellite constellation with TT&C support for launch and LEOP phase.
PRSC-EO3 satellite, designed and developed by SUPARCO, is a remote sensing satellite equipped with a high-resolution optical payload. The remote sensing data acquired by the satellite will serve various fields in Pakistan, including land mapping, agricultural classification and assessment, urban and rural planning, environmental monitoring, natural disaster monitoring and management, surveying, natural resource protection, and others.
Pakistan is the country with the longest history and the broadest scope of space cooperation with China. This mission is a reflection of China-Pakistan friendship and a practice of the China-Pakistan community of destiny. This achievement further consolidates and deepens the all-weather strategic cooperative partnership between China and Pakistan.
The LM-6 launch vehicle, developed by Shanghai Academy of Spaceflight Technology (SAST), It is a three-stage launch vehicle using cryogenic liquid propellant, capable of launching satellites to different orbits. This launch marks the 15th flight of the LM-6 launch vehicle.
CGWIC is a commercial organization authorized by Chinese government to provide commercial launch services, satellite systems and to carry out space technology cooperation. Under the guidance of CASC, CGWIC provides international and domestic customers with rapid, stable, and reliable "one-stop" quality services.
Since Long March launch vehicles successfully entered the international market in 1990s, CGWIC has completed 108 commercial launch missions for 78 international satellites and 299 domestic satellites. In addition, CGWIC has conducted 52 rideshare missions sending 29 international payloads and 127 domestic payloads into orbits.
This launch marks the 640th flight of the Long March fleet.
