At 12:11 March 15th, 2025 BJT, SuperView Neo 3 – 02 Satellites were successfully launched from Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center (JSLC) aboard a Long March-2D (LM-2D) Launch Vehicle. China Great Wall Industry Corporation (CGWIC), a subsidiary of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC), provides the in-orbit delivery services of the SuperView Neo 3 – 02 Satellites to China Siwei Surveying and Mapping Technology Co., Ltd. (China Siwei) which is committed to the development of application industry of remote sensing satellites.
SuperView Neo 3 – 02 Satellites are developed by Shanghai Academy of Spaceflight Technology (SAST), a subsidiary of CASC. The satellite can efficiently serve emerging markets such as digital agriculture, smart water conservancy and digital city, as well as land resources survey, urban management, environmental protection, disaster prevention and reduction, maritime security etc., providing users with time-sensitive and high-performance spatiotemporal information services.
An optical remote sensing satellite with sub-meter resolution is on board as a secondary payload, providing remote sensing data for the Smart Land Management and Control Platform of Chongming.
LM-2D Launch Vehicle is a liquid two-stage launch vehicle designed and manufactured by SAST. This is the 96th flight of LM-2D Launch Vehicle.
CGWIC is a commercial organization authorized by Chinese government to provide commercial launch services, satellite systems and to carry out space technology cooperation. Under the guidance of CASC, CGWIC can provide fast, stable and reliable "one-stop" quality services to both international and domestic customers by introducing the "Long March Express" launch services brand, as well as Turn-key solution of the satellite in-orbit delivery.
