Engineering Contract

Engineering Contracting comprises an important part for CGWIC's realization of comprehensive function and diversified markets. Since the year of 1987, CGWIC has been making full use of advantages in aerospace high technology and human resources, and actively participated in the competition of the engineering contracting markets home and abroad. Starting from acting as an agency, CGWIC has been advancing towards project sub-system contracting and project prime contracting.

Under the close cooperation with some related aerospace technology research institutes and factories, the project of Hong Kong Grand Buddha for the Temple of Heaven contracted by the China Aerospace Consulting company of science and technology was completed and successfully installed in 1989. The Grand Buddha for the Temple of Heaven, 26.4 meters in height, 250 tons in weight, is the tallest open-air bronze sitting statue of Sakyamuni in the world so far. The beauty of its modeling and the exquisite workmanship have won high praise from the Buddhism world and all circles.
