Established in 1980, China Great Wall Industry Corporation (CGWIC) is the sole organization authorized by the Chinese Government to provide satellite in-orbit delivery (IOD) services, commercial launch services and aerospace technology Applications.

As the platform for international cooperation for China’s aerospace industry, CGWIC is engaged in the internationalized development of China’s aerospace industry. From 1985 to June 1, 2009, CGWIC has conducted 29 commercial launch missions for 35 satellites and 6 piggyback missions. Since 2007, CGWIC has provided satellite IOD services to two international customers, having set milestones for Chinese-made satellite. Through international cooperation, CGWIC enjoys good reputation in the international aerospace industry, the financial community and insurance community.

CGWIC is devoted to development of aerospace technology applications in the fields of Satellite Applications, Electronics & Information Technology, Advanced Material, Green Energy, Petroleum & Chemical Engineering.
